Mobius is the home planet of Sonic the Hedgehog, Robotnik, and generally all the characters of Sonic Shift. It is, accordingly, where most events take place.
It is much larger in terms of landmass than Earth, though less people live there(likely as a result of the Industrial Revolution just recently occurring).
It was once divided into dozens of countries, but most of these are now just fronts for the Robotnik Empire.
The world's signature quality is the fact that humans only make up about 5% of the population; the rest of the planet is a diverse mixture of countless anthropomorphic species. The racial divide between the humans and the "furries" has traditionally been a source of conflict worldwide.
